If you have consented to data processing, the primary legal basis is your consent (Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR).

2.2 Fulfillment of contract, in particular purchase processing

We process your data to carry out the contracts concluded with you and to provide services that are carried out at your request. The purposes depend primarily on the specific contract content or the purpose of the services you have requested. Details of the processing purposes can be found in the respective contract documents and terms and conditions, for example our general terms and conditions . Examples are:

Legal basis:

The legal basis for this data processing is Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR (contract fulfillment and pre-contractual measures).

2.3 Personalization of the Saola Fashion online shop

Information we receive from you helps us to permanently improve your shopping experience and our service and to make it more customer-friendly and personal for you. The information you transmit and automatically generated (e.g. access, master and order data as well as search entries and wish list products) is therefore used to personalize the content in the Saola Fashion online shop based on your derived interests and needs. For example, we can make it easier for you to find the products that are relevant to you more quickly (e.g. when you enter a search, we can first show you those products in the search results that relate to the products saved in your wish list or the categories that you access particularly frequently fit).

We also use this information for individual product recommendations, insofar as these are part of our personalized service offerings (e.g. Saola Fashion customer account, Saola Fashion newsletter and advisory services, for example as part of the Saola Fashion style guides and our Click & Collect) or they are the subject of our advertising addressed directly to you.

For example, we regularly send our existing customers, within the limits permitted by law, by email advertising with personalized offers, which we select based on your previous orders (unless this has been contradicted).

Legal basis:

If you use the Saola Fashion online shop or another personalized service with your Saola Fashion customer account, the legal basis is Article 6 paragraph 1 letter b GDPR (contract fulfillment and pre-contractual measures).

If you use the Saola Fashion online shop or another personalized service without registration, the personalization is based on Article 6 paragraph 1 letter f GDPR (balancing of interests based on our legitimate interest in providing you with personalized content and product recommendations).

Insofar as the personalization is based on your consent, your consent is the primary legal basis (paragraph 6 paragraph 1 letter a GDPR).

You don't want personalization?

If you do not want us to use your master and order data for personalization during your visit to the Saola Fashion online shop, you can log out of your personal customer account at any time and use the Saola Fashion online shop as a guest. Then the data of your Saola Fashion customer account will no longer be taken into account in the personalization. Personalization then takes place exclusively on the basis of your access data, which we collect as part of the web analysis (section 5) during your visit.

If you do not want this, you can deactivate the personalization at any time based on your access data by deactivating the web analysis services mentioned in section 5.

Detailed information on your data protection rights and options can also be found under Section 9 (your data protection rights) and Section 10 (right of withdrawal and objection).

2.4 Customer service and communication within the framework of existing customer relationships

We process your data to carry out our customer service. This includes, for example:

Legal basis:

The legal basis for this data processing is Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR (contract fulfillment and pre-contractual measures).

2.5 Payment processing

Depending on which payment method has been agreed, we pass on the data necessary for payment processing (e.g. direct debit or credit card data) to the payment service provider commissioned with the payment. In some cases, the payment service providers collect this data themselves. In this respect, the data protection information of the respective payment service provider applies.

The transmission of your data to the external payment service providers is based on Article 6 paragraph 1 letter b GDPR (contract fulfillment).

So that you do not have to enter the card details every time you make your next credit card purchase, your cards will be stored in encrypted form on our behalf by Computop. The legal basis for this is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f GDPR based on our legitimate interest in making future purchases easier for you. For this purpose, Computop provides us with an individual pseudo card number for each credit card you use for your stored credit card, which only accepts the last 3 digits of your real credit card number. This enables us to offer you the payment with your last used credit card with the last 3 digits of your actual card number, without we storing your real credit card data or having to transfer it to us from Computop as part of the payment process. You then only enter the check digit that is sent to Computop. This procedure increases the protection of your credit card data, which can remain under lock and key throughout the entire Computop process. This meets the requirements of the cross-industry regulatory standards in payment transactions (PCI-DSS regulations). If you then select the credit card for payment, we only send the pseudo card number and the check digit in encrypted form to Computop and Computop then recognizes from the pseudo card number which credit card number stored in the system should be charged.

Would you like to object to the storage of your credit card data?

If you do not want this, you can object to the storage of your credit card data at any time by sending us an informal declaration to the address or e-mail address mentioned in section 1 above. In this case, you have to enter the credit card details manually each time you make a purchase.

2.6 Internal market research, optimization and further development of our offer

We use your access data and the data you provide (e.g. master data, order data, return data) for internal statistical purposes and market research purposes. We pseudonymize or anonymize your data beforehand, e.g. B. by exchanging your name and other data suitable for identification with random information.

For example, we can determine which pages and products of our shop are particularly popular, which devices our customers generally use or which regions our website is accessed from. This information helps us to continuously optimize our existing offer and to develop new functions and services.

Legal basis:

The legal basis for this data processing is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR (balancing interests based on our legitimate interests mentioned above).

2.7 Processing for consented purposes

If you have given us your consent to the processing of your data for certain purposes, the legal basis for data processing for these purposes is primarily your consent (Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR).

Withdrawal of consent

In accordance with Article 7 (2) GDPR, you have the right to withdraw your consent to us at any time. As a result, we will no longer continue the data processing based on this consent in the future. Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out based on the consent until the withdrawal.

3. Saola Fashion store search (Google Maps)

Our website uses the Google Maps map service from Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google") for the "Store Finder" function. So that the Google map material we use can be integrated and displayed in your web browser, your web browser must connect to a Google server that may also be located in the USA when you access the contact page. In the event that personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield . This gives Google the information that the contact page of our website has been called up from the IP address of your device.

In the Store Finder, you can also search for nearby Saola Fashion branches using location data and display them on Google Maps. You can enter any address data in the search field (country, zip code, city and / or street name). If you only want to search for branches in your current environment, you can also use the automatic location function of the Store Finder by clicking on the "Nearby branches" button. This enables the HTML5 "Geolocation" function for automatic location detection, which is supported by all common browsers. Before your browser carries out the location determination, you must explicitly allow this again by clicking again for data protection reasons. Depending on the browser and device you are using, your IP address, received signals from WLAN networks and - especially if you are using a mobile device, also GPS and mobile radio signals - are used for the subsequent location determination. The address data you entered in the search field of the branch search or the location automatically determined by your browser is transmitted to Google via an interface so that the Saola Fashion branches found in the area can be displayed on the map by Google Maps.

The legal basis for this data processing is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in providing the branch search described above.

If you call up the Google map service on our website while you are logged into your Google profile, Google can also link this event to your Google profile. If you do not wish to be assigned to your Google profile, you must log out of Google before using our branch search. Google stores your data and uses it for the purposes of advertising, market research and personalized presentation of Google Maps. You can object to this data collection from Google.

You can find more information on this in Google's data protection declaration and the Additional Terms of Use for Google Maps.
